Ford Canada announced the delivery of an early industrial Transit Connect vans Electric Canada Post
Azure Dynamics Corporation, responsible for developing hybrid electric engines and electric van industrial market, and Ford Canada announced the delivery of an early industrial Transit Connect vans Electric Canada Post. Note that the organization agrees to acquire nine more by the end of 2011.
"His qualities are well suited to power fleets such as Canada Post, whose work is characterized by predictable routes where the stops and starts are common and often the engine running at idle", ahead of Ford.
Recall that the Ford Transit Connect Electric, assembled in Turkey, uses a lithium-ion signed Johnson Controls-Saft, which provides a range of 130 miles on a single charge and can be recharged using a power 120 or 240 volts. Vans Industrial usually return the deposit at the end of each driving cycle where they can easily be recharged overnight.
