Porsche confirms the start of construction of the Cajun
The fifth family of Porsche is on track, it's official. In a statement, the Stuttgart firm announced that its Office Director has agreed to the enlargement of the range. The Cayenne will soon have a little brother.
Porsche has indeed officially the start of construction of the compact SUV that had been discussed for years and will be positioned below the Cayenne. His code name is Cajun (which does not mean that it will be his final name), and the goal is like the Cayenne to allow the brand to consolidate its position in the market premium. Another ambition to attract a younger audience not necessarily drawn to sports cars "classic" and therefore not reflected in the purchase of a Boxster.
