Carlsson C25 Royale shine in Geneva
Carlsson tuned workshop presented in Geneva new version of its supercar C25, called Royale.
The car is created based on Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG will now be manufactured in short series of only 25 pieces.
According to company representative, 6 have already been sold and will be delivered to their owners this year. According to people Carlsson, each C25 Royale will be produced for 6 months contract.
Compared to the Mercedes SL65 AMG coupe-cabriolet, C25 Royale is lighter by 180 kg, thanks to the use and carbon fibrovlakna in the bonnet and roof. This has helped the center of gravity shifted even lower, which contributes to the stability and improves the behavior of the car on the road.
The brakes are ceramic, making them 50% lighter than the SL 65 AMG. C25 Royale is a suspension C-Tronic Suspension, developed by Carlsson, which is automatically adjusted depending on the specific road conditions.
The engine of the C25 Royale is a bi-turbo V12, with a maximum output of 753 hp and maximum torque of 1320 Nm, which however is electronically limited to 1150 Nm, in order to handle the transmission. In this configuration C25 Royale accelerates from standstill to 100 km / hour in 3.7 seconds.
The color of the exterior, the type of overall decor and furnishings are determined by each individual who makes an order for the car.
