2011 Model Citroen C3 Picasso e-Hdi details and new pictures
Already a major development for the young Citroen C3 Picasso. At the Geneva show, the manufacturers will submit to the rafters green version of its compact MPV which will be characterized primarily by the adoption of a stop & start, obviously intended to reduce consumption figures and co ² rejected.
Coupled with the alternator-starter that we had already seen under the hood of the first generation of C3, the device can recover the energy released during braking. Moreover, this starter is able to provide additional torque of about 15 nm motor useful during a hill start, for example.
In addition to the C3 Picasso, this system will also be installed on the C3 hatchback and DS3. In the near future, but Citroen do not specify when the C5 is also equipped with this gear. More details at the Geneva show, as it should.
