New Peugeot 408 introduced first for Chinese market
The French car maker Peugeot has now introduced the new Mid-Model 408 for the Chinese market, which was developed by the Chinese manufacturing partner Dong Feng. The classically shaped saloon, the French will specifically address the needs of Chinese customers.
The customer may apply to the Chinese version of the 408 strong between a 110 hp 1.6-liter or 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 147 hp choose. From the factory, both are equipped with a manual five-speed manual gearbox, with optionally, a four-speed automatic can be ordered. In addition to ABS, ESP, brake assist and a traction control system also includes a safety equipment of the middle class model.
Also available on the 408-xenon headlamps with cornering light, a navigation system, air conditioning and an audio system. After the model, which rolls into China from the tapes, will be introduced in China, it will then be exported to other countries.
