Renault Wind on sale since June, 1st, 2010

The compact roadster by Renault Wind will be accessible in two variants: Dynamique and Exception, since June, 1st will arrive in the limited sale. In free realisation the model will appear in September of this year.

Renault Wind Dynamique

New Renault Wind Dynamique is equiped: 1,2-l turbo-engine (100HP), antifog headlights, a spoiler behind, wheel disks, sports seats, pillows of safety and a full electronical package in the interior. Price Renault Wind Dynamique begins from 17,500 euros.

Renault Wind Exception

Version Renault Wind Exception (18,500 euros) differs presence of system of stabilisation, the climate control, 17-inch disks. At will of the client of 1,2-l the motor can replace with 1,6-l (133HP) all for 1,000 euros.

Company Renault has presented a compact roadster

Company Renault has extended the first official information on the new model — the open double car Wind constructed on the basis of hatchback Twingo. The world premiere of the new car will take place in the beginning of next month on the international motor show in Geneva.

Compact car Renault Wind

The dimensional length of compact roadster Renault Wind makes 3830 mm, that on 230 mm more than at hatchback Twingo. The novelty is equipped by a metal roof which rises from a compartment in a back part of a body for 12 sec.

Thanks to the original mechanism the volume of a luggage carrier of the car at the combined or lifted top remains invariable — 270 litres (on 40 litres more than at Twingo). We will notice, that the similar system of developing top was used on supercar Ferrari 575 Superamerica.

Roadster Renault Wind

Opened Renault Wind it will be offered in Europe with two petrol engines in volume of 1,2 and 1,6 litres, developing 100 and 133HP accordingly. As specifies British magazine Autocar, despite not the most powerful engines in scale, the French company positions Wind as "sports model", thus working out of "charged" versions Renaultsport and Gordini is not planned yet.

It is expected, that to dealers in Europe the novelty will arrive in June of this year. In the Great Britain the prices for the car will begin from 17,000 pounds sterling.
