Abt R8 Spyder debuted on a motor show in Geneva

Tuning firm Abt has shown the own version of roadster Audi R8 Spyder on the international motor show which has opened today in Geneva. Founders of the complete set of completion have given the basic attention to expressiveness of external shape opened a supercar.

So, new Abt R8 has received the modernised skirts on the forward and back bumper, a new lattice of a radiator, modified thresholds and two-coloured wheels in diameter of 19 or 20 inches on a choice.

As to the engine power of the 5,2-l V-shaped eight-cylinder unit has been increased by 75HP, having reached value in 600HP. Thanks to it, R8 Spyder about 100 km/h for 3,8 sec are accelerated and develops the maximum speed of 320 km/h.

Besides stylistic changes and the advanced engine, engineers Abt have improved controllability of the car, having completed springs new springs.

As a result experts managed to achieve essential reduction of a road gleam and decrease in the centre of gravity. Cost of tuning version Audi R8 Spyder is not disclosed yet.

Studio ABT has presented the program on operational development of sports version Volkswagen Golf GTD.

Volkswagen Golf GTD has received new details which have added to the car more an aggressive look. The Body-kit created in studio, has included a sports lattice of the radiator, new a forward spoiler, an aerodynamic back spoiler. Also experts of studio have put Golf GTD on 19-inch disks.

After works on the engine the car began to give out on 20HP more, and the maximum power of the engine has made 190HP, now Volkswagen Golf GTD 100 km/h for 7,1 second are dispersed, and the maximum speed makes 230 km/h.

Updated off-road car Audi Q7

German tuning studio ABT develops the version of updated off-road car Audi Q7.

The car build on the basis of popular updating of a full-size crossover with twelve-cylinder turbodiesel V6,0.

The standard version of this engine develops 500 h.p. and twisting moment of 1000 Nm. Dispersal to 100 km/h for 5,5 seconds, the maximum speed — 250 km/h. Tuners ABT have increased power to 560 h.p., and twisting moment — to 1200 Nm.

As a result dispersal to 100 km/h is reached for 5,3 seconds, the maximum speed — 258 km/h. The model will receive a new aerodynamic weather-cloth, furnish of salon and larger wheel disks.
